期待已久的 COSCUP x UbuCon Asia 2026 這週就要登場了！活動時間為 08/08（六）– 08/09（日），地點就在老地方——國立臺灣科技大學。
本年會無需報名或購票，時間一到，直接 Show Up 我們現場見！
為了讓大家順利體驗這場年度開源盛宴，我們特別準備了這份「如何玩 COSCUP」行前指南，助你規劃充實又熱血的週末行程！
⚡ 活動前：預先準備，現場更從容
年會前先做幾項準備，現場會更從容：
- 參與前夜派對當熱身：8/7（五）18:15–21:30 於華山町餐酒館登場，免費入場；現場亦提供暢飲券認購，歡迎購券支持活動！
- 預覽大會議程：同一時間可能有多達 20 軌以上的議程同步進行。建議提前收藏 2 至 3 場必聽場次，並為逛攤位與休息保留彈性時間。
- 填寫參與者大調查：協助我們勾勒今年的參與者輪廓；完成預先登錄者，可依大會說明領取 OPass Token 及現場活動點數。
- 安裝 OPass：可即時查看與收藏議程、接收大會公告，更是參加開源巔峰挑戰賽的必備神器。
- 登記 BoF / Hacking Corner：想找志同道合的夥伴交流、共筆或一起 hacking？無論是場內外的聚會或會後揪團，都歡迎發布至 BoF 文件！
📍 熟悉場地與交通
- 活動地點：國立臺灣科技大學，臺北市大安區基隆路四段 43 號。
- 交通方式：可由捷運公館站步行或轉乘 YouBike，也可搭公車至「臺大癌醫（基隆路）」站。
- 會場分布：包含 TR 研揚大樓（2 至 5 樓）、RB 綜合研究大樓及 AU 視聽館；請先查看會場地圖。
- 大會服務台：位於 TR 413-1 與 TR 413-2 教室外。

- 報到與名牌領取：請前往以下地點完成報到、領取你的名牌並寫上 ID：
- 現場導引：請依現場指示標誌前往各棟會場；若找不到路，隨時詢問身穿 COSCUP T-Shirt 的志工夥伴！

- 探索社群攤位：到各個 社群攤位走跳的同時，記得參與開源巔峰挑戰賽，解鎖任務並認識更多開源夥伴！
- 參與 BoF / Hacking Corner：BoF 主要位於 TR310-2（8/8 另開放 TR214）；Hacking Corner 位於 TR309、TR409 外走廊及 TR509。
- 挑戰閃電秀：用精準的 3 分鐘登台分享你的專案、議題或社群活動！投稿時間為 8/8 10:00 至 8/9 12:00，請至 TR 4 樓服務台現場報名。
- 社群佈告欄：找找各樓層教室外張貼用的背板，歡迎張貼分享開源專案、活動資訊、提案或尋找合作夥伴。
- 即時翻譯服務：部分教室提供即時翻譯服務，掃描講台前的 QR Code 就能即時收看翻譯內容。
- 留下議程回饋：一句鼓勵、一項收穫或一個具體建議，都會成為講者與議程軌社群繼續前進的養分。

💡 溫馨小提醒
颱風 / 天候應變須知：年會期間若遇政府公告停班停課（颱風假），當日活動將取消，其餘日期照常舉行。若前夜派對受停班停課影響，活動將取消並辦理退費。
- 🤝 社群守則：請共同維護友善、尊重且安全的參與環境，讓每位參與者都能自在交流與學習。
- ☔ 攜帶雨具：年會幾天天氣較不穩定，建議隨身攜帶雨具。
- 📶 自備網路：現場不提供 Wi-Fi，請事先確認自己的網路方案。
- 🔋 能量與電量：攜帶水壺、止餓小點心與行動電源，可以讓兩天的活動體驗更加順暢！
- 💻 裝備與交流：建議攜帶筆電，也記得事先準備名片或整理 LinkedIn，方便與社群夥伴交流認識。

COSCUP x UbuCon Asia 2026 is finally happening this week! Join us on August 8–9 at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST).
No registration or ticket is required—just show up and enjoy the event!
To help you make the most of your weekend, we have prepared this "How to Enjoy COSCUP" Pre-Event Guide.
⚡ Before You Arrive
A little preparation before the event will help you have a smoother and more enjoyable experience on-site:
- Join the Welcome Party: The party will take place on August 7 (Fri), 18:15–21:30 at Huashan Town Bistro. Admission is free, and all-you-can-drink tickets are available for purchase. Your support helps us make this event possible.
- Preview the Conference Session: More than 20 parallel tracks may be running at the same time. We recommend bookmarking 2–3 sessions you don't want to miss in advance, while leaving some flexible time to explore booths and take breaks.
- Fill out the Participant Survey: Help us better understand this year's participants. Those who complete pre-registration can receive OPass Tokens and on-site event points according to the conference instructions.
- Install OPass: Check and bookmark sessions in real time, receive official announcements, and use it as an essential tool for participating in the Booth Reward Activity.
- Register a BoF / Hacking Corner Session: Want to find like-minded people to discuss ideas, collaborate on projects, or hack together? Whether it's an on-site meetup, an off-site gathering, or a post-event discussion, feel free to share it through the BoF Document!
📍 Venue & Transportation
- Event Location: National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST), No. 43, Sec. 4, Keelung Rd., Da'an Dist., Taipei City.
- Transportation: You can walk from Gongguan MRT Station, transfer to YouBike, or take a bus to the "NTU Cancer Center (Keelung Rd.)" bus stop.
- Venue Distribution: The event venues include the TR Building (Floors 2–5), RB Building, and AU Building. Please check the Venue Map in advance.
- Information Desk: Located outside classrooms TR 413-1 and TR 413-2.

Check-in & Name Badge Collection: Please visit one of the following locations to complete check-in, collect your name badge, and write down your ID:

On-site Guidance: Please follow the directional signs to find your way around the venue. If you get lost, feel free to ask any volunteer wearing a COSCUP T-shirt for assistance!

🎈 During the Event
Besides the rich conference schedule, don't forget to take some time to explore every corner of the venue:
- Explore Community Booths: While visiting each Community Booth, remember to participate in the Booth Reward Activity to complete missions and learn more about open-source communities and partners!
- Participate in BoF / Hacking Corner: BoFs are mainly located at TR310-2 (with TR214 also available on 8/8). Hacking Corners are located in the hallways outside TR309, TR409, and TR509.
- Submit a Lightning Talk: Take the stage for a precise 3-minute talk and share your project, topic, or community activity! Submissions are open from 8/8 10:00 to 8/9 12:00. Please register on-site at the TR 4F Information Desk.
- Community Bulletin Board: Look for the backdrops posted outside classrooms on each floor. Feel free to share open-source projects, proposals, recruitment information, or other community announcements.
- Live Translation Service: Some classrooms provide real-time translation services. Scan the QR Code in front of the podium to view translated content during the session.
- Leave Session Feedback: A word of encouragement, a key takeaway, or a specific suggestion can help speakers and track communities continue to improve and grow.
- Get Your COSCUP Portrait: Visit TR 413-1 to capture your exclusive COSCUP x UbuCon Asia 2026 memories and unlock a special souvenir from your open-source journey!
💡 Helpful Reminders
Typhoon / Weather Emergency Notice: If the government announces a suspension of work and classes (Typhoon Day) during the event, activities scheduled for that day will be canceled, while activities on other days will proceed as planned. If the Welcome Party is affected by a typhoon day, it will be canceled and refunds will be issued.
- 🤝 Code of Conduct: Please help us maintain a friendly, respectful, and safe environment where everyone can communicate and learn comfortably.
- ☔ Bring Rain Gear: The weather during the conference period may be unstable, so bringing rain gear is recommended.
- 📶 Bring Your Own Internet: Wi-Fi will not be specially provided at the venue. Please make sure your mobile data plan is ready in advance.
- 🔋 Energy & Battery: Bringing a water bottle, snacks, and a power bank can make your two-day conference experience much smoother.
- 💻 Equipment & Networking: Bringing a laptop is recommended. Also, prepare business cards or update your LinkedIn profile in advance for easier networking with community members and partners.
